Guidelines for Reviewers
IMPORTANT: Reviewers are expected to review the papers, not to write
something like: 'I don't know anything about the topic, so I can't say
anything.' As every one of us can read, everybody can give comments,
suggestions for improvements etc.
FURTHER, please use PLAIN TEXT files, no ps, no pdf,
etc.
At least the following points should be taken into account
when reviewing:
- comprehensibility of the paper
- originality of the topic
- connectivity to your group (interest to hear the talk)
- type of work (e.g.: comparison, math, ...)
First: please write comments, and suggestions for
improvements, at both general and detailed levels
AFTER that assign marks from 1 (best) to 4 (worst) for each of
the items 1-3 in the list above.
Please follow this description to make sure that each abstract is
treated alike. Send your reviews to the contact person of your graduate
school. She/he gives you further instructions about the deadlines etc.
